Nominations are open for RVA Companies to Watch!
Venture Forum RVA the catalyst for Richmond’s visionaries– is proud to announce its marquee event, RVA Companies to Watch, presented by Venture Forum RVA & Elliott Davis. Save the date for Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Hippodrome, 528 N 2nd Street, Richmond, VA 23219. This event recognizes emerging startups and growth companies in the Richmond community.
Nominations for the companies to be recognized will begin this week and last through August 1st. Emerging Startups are up-and-coming, possibly even pre-revenue, businesses that are poised to make a big impact in Richmond’s economic future. Growth Companies are businesses that have proven success through substantial revenues or raising a significant amount of capital and that have shaped major innovation in Richmond.
A phenomenal panel of judges will be selecting winners in each category. Judges include: Tom Benedetti, Partner and Co-Founder Blue Heron Capital, Patrick Hull, CEO Phull Holdings, Charles Merritt, Partner 80amps, Zack Miller, President Hatch Norfolk, and Matthew Rutherford, Associate Professor of Management at VCU.
