Darren Smith

Director of Business Development - Carolinas

Darren is a dynamic sales executive, bringing 25 years of Business Development experience with him to our Raleigh, NC office. Fahrenheit continues to grow in the Raleigh-Durham market because of the strong team we have built there and Darren is no exception. He has lived and worked in the Raleigh area for the past two decades, and he leverages that experience and the executive-level network he has developed in that area in his role as Director of Business Development for our Carolina’s branch.

A dynamic, well-known consultant in the sales industry, Darren has extensive experience across the sales spectrum, including expert product and technical knowledge of Salesforce.com. He excels at formulating and implementing plans to ensure achievement of KPI’s and business process improvements with Salesforce.com and can deliver strategic and operational support to strengthen sales efforts and implement sales processes through Salesforce.com. Through monitoring the results from Salesforce.com, Darren has provided guidance to sales professionals in developing their strategic sales plans and created multi-level management reporting with insightful analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to highlight inefficiencies and formulate recommendations to advance a company’s agenda. Darren has found success in formulating Salesforce processes and solutions for brands such as Dataflux, SAS, Microsoft, and more. He also spent five years as the Director of Business Development for West Monroe Partners where he helped establish the company’s new East Coast office in Durham. Darren was a Sergeant in the United States Air Force where he was an Advanced C-130 Training Instructor Loadmaster.
