David Wren

Consultant

David acquired a diverse set of work experiences around the world that he leverages in his role on our talent acquisition team. He began his career by teaching Economics and American History and coaching swimming in Wales, UK. After returning to the U.S., David worked with a local staffing firm first as a Recruiter, and then Account Manager for the downtown Richmond territory. In that role, he recruited and placed professionals in industries, such as IT, finance, accounting, healthcare, and operations for Fortune 500 companies and State Government clients. However, most recently he has worked as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch, where he consulted local Richmond business owners and families on their business’ financial planning, individual retirement plans, and insurance needs. David brings a breadth of experiences to his role on the talent acquisition team at The Fahrenheit Group and enjoys the opportunity to assist fellow professionals find new and exciting opportunities to grow in their careers.

Growing up in Richmond, David devoted the majority of his free time to competitive swimming, first with the Canterbury Recreation Association summer league team, then year round for NOVA of Virginia Aquatics. David’s swimming career culminated with competition at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials and four years on the varsity Swimming & Diving Team at the University of Virginia, where he helped lead the team to four consecutive ACC Championship titles.

In his spare time, David is the official Certified Cicerone® of the Brady in the Morning Show on 96.5 ROCK and writes editorial articles for the Virginia Craft Brews Publication, a quarterly charitable magazine distributed at the breweries of Central Virginia.
